TR Mould Release Wax is a high performance paste wax designed for fibreglass moulding and composite fabrication. When applied to mould surfaces it forms a durable release barrier that prevents resin from bonding to the mould, allowing finished parts to release cleanly after curing.

The wax produces a smooth, high gloss surface while helping protect moulds during production. TR mould release wax is widely used in fibreglass mould preparation, composite manufacturing, boat building and industrial moulding applications.

TR mould release wax is available in multiple grades including 102 Regular, 104 Hi Temp and 108 Premium, allowing users to select the most suitable formulation depending on moulding conditions and production requirements.

KEY FEATURES:

  • High performance mould release wax for composite moulding
  • Creates a durable barrier to prevent resin bonding
  • Produces smooth, high gloss mould surfaces
  • Protects mould surfaces during repeated production cycles
  • Suitable for polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resin systems
  • Available in grades 102, 104 and 108

COMMON APPLICATIONS:

  • Fibreglass mould preparation
  • Composite mould production
  • Boat building and marine fabrication
  • Automotive composite parts
  • Industrial fibreglass manufacturing

102 Regular
General purpose mould release wax suitable for standard fibreglass moulding applications. Provides reliable release performance and a high gloss mould finish.

104 Hi Temp
High temperature mould release wax designed for moulding processes where elevated temperatures or accelerated curing cycles are used.

108 Premium
High performance mould release wax often used for breaking in new moulds. Produces a durable protective coating and is suitable for demanding mould preparation applications.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Ensure the mould surface is clean and dry before applying mould release wax. Apply a thin even coat using a clean cloth or applicator pad. Allow the wax to haze before buffing to a smooth finish. Multiple coats are typically applied when preparing new mould surfaces to establish a reliable release barrier.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
Use in well ventilated areas and avoid inhalation of vapours during application. Wear appropriate protective equipment when working with composite materials and mould preparation products.
