Chopped Strand Fibreglass Mat 600gsm

Chopped Strand Fibreglass Mat 600gsm is a non woven reinforcement material widely used in fibreglass laminating and composite fabrication. The mat is made from randomly oriented chopped glass fibres bonded together with a resin soluble binder, allowing it to easily conform to mould shapes and complex surfaces during lay up.

This reinforcement mat is commonly used with polyester and vinyl ester resin systems to create strong, durable laminates in marine, automotive and industrial composite applications. The 600gsm weight provides excellent structural strength and resin absorption, making it suitable for building laminate thickness quickly during fabrication or repair work.

Supplied in a convenient 1 metre pack, chopped strand matting is ideal for fibreglass repairs, mould production and general composite fabrication where consistent reinforcement and easy handling are required.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Cut the chopped strand mat to the required size and place onto the prepared surface or mould. Apply resin evenly to fully saturate the fibres and use a laminating roller to remove trapped air and ensure proper consolidation of the laminate.
