About this product
Catalyst M100 is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) catalyst used to initiate the curing of polyester and vinyl ester resin systems. It is commonly used in fibreglass laminating, composite fabrication and mould production where controlled curing at ambient temperature is required.
Catalyst M100 is particularly suited to vinyl ester resin systems and large moulded parts where a slower, controlled reaction helps ensure even curing and improved laminate quality when used with appropriate cobalt accelerators.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Catalyst M100 should be added to polyester or vinyl ester resin according to the resin manufacturer’s recommended catalyst ratio. Mix thoroughly to ensure even dispersion before applying the resin system.

MEKP catalysts are hazardous oxidising chemicals and must be handled with extreme care. Always wear appropriate protective equipment including gloves, eye protection and respiratory protection where required. Avoid direct contact with skin and never mix MEKP directly with accelerators such as cobalt compounds.
