About this product
Lightweight Fibreglass Reinforced Structural Panel
Coosa Bluewater 20 Composite Board is a high performance structural panel manufactured from closed cell polyurethane foam reinforced with woven fibreglass. Designed as a lightweight alternative to marine plywood, Bluewater 20 delivers excellent strength, durability and moisture resistance for demanding marine, transport and industrial applications.
Unlike timber panels, Coosa composite boards do not rot, absorb water or deteriorate in wet environments. The reinforced fibreglass construction provides excellent stiffness and dimensional stability while remaining significantly lighter than traditional plywood.
Bluewater 20 offers an excellent strength to weight ratio and can be machined using standard woodworking tools, making it suitable for fabrication, marine construction and custom CNC machining.
Key Features & Benefits
Lightweight Structural Composite
Provides excellent stiffness and structural strength while remaining significantly lighter than traditional marine plywood.
Rot Proof Closed Cell Construction
The closed cell polyurethane core resists water absorption and eliminates the risk of rot or swelling.
Fibreglass Reinforced Strength
Continuous strand fibreglass reinforcement increases panel strength and durability.
Excellent Strength to Weight Ratio
Delivers structural performance while reducing overall weight in marine and transport applications.
Dimensionally Stable
Resists warping, expansion and contraction caused by moisture and temperature changes.
Machinable with Standard Tools
Can be cut, drilled and shaped using standard woodworking tools or CNC equipment.
Resistant to Mold and Chemicals
Fibreglass reinforced structure prevents deterioration in harsh environments.
