About this product
Divinycell PL100 PET Structural Foam Core for Composite Sandwich Construction
Divinycell PL100 is a high performance thermoplastic PET structural foam core engineered for modern composite sandwich structures requiring an optimal balance of strength, weight and sustainability. Manufactured from recyclable polyethylene terephthalate (PET), Divinycell PL100 provides reliable mechanical performance while supporting environmentally responsible material use.
The closed cell foam structure delivers very low resin uptake, excellent shear strain and strong compression properties, allowing fabricators to produce lightweight structural panels with improved efficiency during infusion, prepreg and press bonding processes.
Divinycell PL100 also offers good chemical resistance, consistent density distribution and excellent dimensional stability at elevated temperatures, making it suitable for demanding composite applications across marine, industrial, transportation and renewable energy sectors.
