Divinycell PL230 PET Structural Foam Core for Demanding Composite Structures
Divinycell PL230 is a high density PET structural foam core developed for composite sandwich construction where improved compressive performance and higher load handling are required. It is well suited to demanding marine, transport and industrial composite applications where increased core density is needed over lighter PET grades.
The closed cell PET foam structure helps minimise resin uptake while supporting efficient processing in composite manufacturing methods such as vacuum infusion, prepreg and bonded panel construction. Divinycell PL230 is commonly selected for higher load areas, reinforcement zones and structural composite parts where improved compression resistance is important.
Divinycell PL230 also offers strong dimensional stability, good moisture resistance and reliable machining performance, making it a practical option for precision cut composite panels and engineered sandwich structures.
