The Horizontal Grooved Paddle Roller is a laminating tool used to remove trapped air and distribute resin during fibreglass and composite lay-up. The grooved roller head helps consolidate fibreglass mat, woven cloth and other reinforcement fabrics while forcing out air pockets that can weaken the laminate.
This type of laminating roller improves resin flow through the reinforcement and ensures consistent wet-out across the laminate surface. It is commonly used in fibreglass fabrication, boat building, mould production and composite repair work.
KEY FEATURES:
- Horizontal grooved paddle roller for laminating
- Helps remove trapped air bubbles from fibreglass laminates
- Improves resin distribution through reinforcement fabrics
- Durable metal roller head with ergonomic handle
- Suitable for polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resin systems
COMMON APPLICATIONS:
- Fibreglass laminating and consolidation
- Composite mould production
- Boat building and marine repairs
- Automotive fibreglass fabrication
- Industrial composite manufacturing
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Apply resin to the fibreglass reinforcement before rolling. Use the paddle roller to consolidate the laminate and remove trapped air while distributing resin evenly through the reinforcement layers.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
Wear appropriate protective equipment when working with fibreglass materials and resin systems. Clean rollers after use with a suitable solvent.
