About this product
Polyester Waxed Resin is a finishing grade fibreglass resin designed for the final layer of fibreglass laminates and composite repairs. Unlike unwaxed laminating resins, waxed polyester resin contains a wax additive that rises to the surface during curing to create a hard, non tacky finish.
This surface sealing effect allows the resin to fully cure when exposed to air, making it ideal for top coats, finishing layers and exposed fibreglass surfaces. When used with fibreglass reinforcement materials such as chopped strand mat, woven cloth or fibreglass tape, waxed polyester resin forms a durable composite laminate suitable for marine, automotive and industrial repair applications.
Iron Link Distributors supplies trade grade fibreglass resins suitable for professional composite fabrication, laminating and repair work.
