About this product
Rapid Cure R90 is a high viscosity, solvent-free epoxy resin specifically formulated for use with H90 hardener to provide thin film or glue joint gelation in approximately four minutes at 25°C. This professional-grade adhesive is used in marine joinery and repair, commercial joinery, furniture manufacture, stone and masonry bonding, and home handyman applications.

- H90 Hardener: Clear to light amber liquid, strong odour

- Specific Gravity: R90 1.16, H90 1.13 @ 25°C
Cure Characteristics:
- Pot Life @ 25°C (100g in air): 4 minutes
- Cured to solid state @ 25°C: 5 minutes
- Working cure @ 25°C: 30 minutes
- Cure to maximum strength @ 25°C: 1 hour
- Shore D Hardness @ 1 day: 85
- Shore D Hardness @ 2 weeks: 86
- HDT after 24 hours @ 25°C: 41°C
- HDT @ 2 weeks @ 25°C: 46°C
Application Instructions
- Surfaces must be dry and free from contaminants
- Sand fibreglass, painted or metal surfaces to a matt finish
- Apply mixed epoxy to one or both surfaces
- Hold firmly together or apply minimal clamping pressure
- Handling strength achieved in 8-15 minutes
- Important: Do not alter hardener ratio to control cure time
Storage
R90 resin and H90 hardener will keep for 2 years in original containers at room temperature (15°C to 32°C), out of direct sunlight. Containers must be tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption.
Note: Post cure temp or service temp must not exceed 50°C
