Overview

About this product

Industrial Talc Filler is a mineral based powder used to thicken polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resin systems in fibreglass fabrication and composite repair work. Talc improves the body and workability of resin mixtures, making it suitable for creating filler compounds, fairing mixtures and thickened resin systems.

Talc filler is widely used in fibreglass mould production, composite fabrication and repair applications where a cost effective resin thickener or filler compound is required.

KEY FEATURES:

  • Mineral based filler powder for resin systems
  • Improves thickness and workability of resin mixtures
  • Suitable for polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resins
  • Ideal for creating resin filler compounds
  • Cost effective filler for composite fabrication

COMMON APPLICATIONS:

  • Fibreglass laminating and repair work
  • Composite mould preparation
  • Resin filler compounds and thickened resin systems
  • Marine and automotive fibreglass repairs
  • Industrial composite fabrication

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Gradually add talc filler to resin while mixing until the desired thickness is achieved. Mix thoroughly to ensure even dispersion before adding catalyst or hardener according to the resin manufacturer's instructions.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
Avoid inhaling dust when handling powdered fillers. Use appropriate protective equipment including gloves, eye protection and a dust mask when mixing filler materials.
