Overview

About this product

West System 206 Slow Hardener is a low viscosity epoxy curing agent designed for use with West System 105 Epoxy Resin. When combined with the resin, it produces a high strength epoxy system suitable for bonding, laminating and coating applications.

The slow hardener provides extended working time compared with fast curing hardeners, making it suitable for larger laminating jobs or when working in warmer conditions where additional application time is required.

KEY FEATURES:

  • Slow curing epoxy hardener for West System 105 resin
  • Extended working time for larger applications
  • Produces high strength structural epoxy systems
  • Suitable for bonding, coating and laminating applications
  • Compatible with West System epoxy systems

COMMON APPLICATIONS:

  • Fibreglass laminating and composite fabrication
  • Boat building and marine repairs
  • Timber bonding and structural repairs
  • Epoxy coating and sealing
  • Industrial bonding applications

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
West System 206 Slow Hardener must be mixed with West System 105 Epoxy Resin according to the manufacturer’s recommended ratio of 5 parts resin to 1 part hardener by volume or weight. Mix thoroughly before applying to ensure proper curing.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
Avoid contact with skin and eyes when handling epoxy hardeners. Use appropriate personal protective equipment including gloves and safety glasses and ensure adequate ventilation during use.
